I belong to a couple bass forums - one is the one I used to learn basic bass techniques (I’m an old guitar player) and took an online course from another “cruise” bass player…. Great course that helped me transition into bass but…. I needed help with some ”transcriptions”….
Although I can ”fake“ a bunch of $hit because, well, I was a guitar player.. But, being a “new to the bass” bass player (even at 68), it kinda ain’t the same…. Greg, your transcriptions have helped me be a better bass player!!
i’ve always been able to use my ear to transcribe and play “by ear”, but now that I’m deaf in one ear, and can’t hear outta the other, having a bit of help with your transcriptions is a God Send!!
I have compared my transcriptions to yours, and some have been pretty “spot on”, and others….…
